Armageddon Has Begun!

Let this be the first of the many Armageddon updates that will begin to flood the site. I’ve just got the game and I’m really enjoying it, but not only that, I’ve started captured stuff from the Krypt, which is really great.

So far I haven’t unlocked much stuff, but I’ll leave you with these four Motor Kombat renders:

More stuff coming soon, I’ll have to re-do the Bio parts of the characters pages, because, uh, there aren’t any bios on the game.

    No bios? So how are the recurring characters returning after death? Is there endings?
    (I still have to wait a week before it comes out here >:C )

    For those of you that don’t have it yet, here’s some info:
    1 – MKA got rid of unique character fatalities and has a custom fatality feature. It’s good because you can do all sorts of different fatality moves, bad because it means almost every character can use the same set. (there is a seperate set for bosses)
    2 – MKA got rid of the different types of coins (jade, etc…) and just uses one type of coin. I like this, it was a pain trying to get all the right types.
    3 – MKA conquest mode has more of a linear plot, it’s shorter, and it has fun combat. I preffer it to the other conquests because I actually had fun playing through it instead of grinding through.
    4 – All the characters have only two styles and chains do much less damage after three hits. It actually is much better than it sounds. (it balances gameplay pretty well)
    5 – Create a character has great models and quite a lot of things to change. It is only really lacking in the ability to change the size of all the different boy parts (the facial proportions can be altered quite a lot but you can’t alter the size of arms or legs which is perplexing)
    6 – All the bosses were nerfed. I know why they did it (balance) but I hate that they did it. It would have been better just to have them nerfed for online play or something, but left them powerful otherwise. (Motaro even lost two of his legs(WHY?!?))

    Minor complaints aside, I enjoy the heck out of the game.
    P.S. – I changed all the ‘K’s back to ‘C’s on purpose so don’t e-mail me about it. :P
